Request for bids to provide Construction Management Services, for Midtown Plaza - Located at 285 East Main Street, 26, 58, and 100 South Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14604

The Empire State Development Corporation (ESD) is seeking a Construction Management (CM) firm to coordinate and oversee the asbestos/ environmental remediation and demolition of the Midtown Plaza.
 

Request for proposals for creation of Entrepreneurial Assistance Centers in four target areas: (1) Erie and Niagara counties, (2) Onondaga county, (3) mid-Manhattan or (4) Greater Harlem area (east, central, west, Washington heights and Inwood)  NOTE: Revised version posted 03/12/2008

Empire State Development Corporation (“ESDC”) requests proposals for grant funding to be made available from its Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (“EAP”) to not-for-profit corporations, community colleges and boards of cooperative educational services (BOCES) for the development of community-based EAP Centers. The Centers provide intensive assistance in enterprise development to minority group members, women, dislocated workers and individuals with a disability who are seeking to start or are starting their own business ventures or are seeking to expand their early-stage firms (1-5 years).

Request for Proposals for an Owner’s Representative to Provide Construction Oversight for the Atlantic Yards Land Use Improvement And Civic Project

The New York State Urban Development Corporation d/b/a the Empire State Development Corporation (“ESDC”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to solicit proposals for an Owner’s Representative - Construction (“Owner’s Rep”) to oversee, on behalf of ESDC, construction activities associated with the Atlantic Yards Land Use Improvement and Civic Project (the “Project”). The responsibilities of the Owner’s Rep will be to act as ESDC’s “eyes and ears” on site during construction of the Project. More particularly, the Owner’s Rep will help ESDC identify, address and investigate risks associated with construction activities, including; demolition, site and civil construction, rail yard construction, and construction of an arena and 16 mixed use buildings.
