Census 2000 Subject by Type
 (Last Updated -- September 24, 2002 )

Census 2000 asked questions about many subjects.  A few of these questions were asked of everyone answering the census.  These are the questions that were included on the short form.  Nationally, about 1 in 6 households were included in the sample that received the long form.  The table below identifies the form on which each topic was included. (Note: the 100% items were actually asked on both the short and long forms.)

Data from the 100% items are currently available in the Demographic Profiles or Summary Data Profiles.  The sample data items are expected during the summer of 2002.

Definitions of the 100% items can be found here.
