2006, which reflect a 13.6 % rise over 2005
levels. New York State’s merchandise exports
also accounted for 5.5% of U.S. total

State Development (ESD), the state’s lead
economic development agency, offers a range
of export assistance services to help
increase international sales of goods and
services.
ESD’s innovative
technical and financial assistance

in collaboration with the private sector,
trade associations, industry organizations,
