your workforce to help it meet the highest
standards. We can also assist with: training
newly hired employees, linking your company
with job seekers who possess the required
skills, and partnering with various organizations
to promote New York State as a leader in
developing the best-trained workforce in
the nation.
Training Assistance
- Funding available for up to 50 percent
of any training project
- Training in new technologies, skills
or work processes
- Training in a classroom setting and/or
On-the-Job (OJT)
- Funding for consortia projects
- Funding for small business training

- Participating with public and private
organizations to promote available positions
with New York State employers
- Coordinating the link between employers
and job seekers

Building Partnerships
- Developing a network of public and private
organizations for assistance with general
workforce development issues
