reusable products and that make the recovery and remanufacture of discarded
products cost-effective.

- Recycled Product Procurement – ESU provides information to help identify
opportunities to purchase recycled products for use in the public and private
sector. Buying recycled products drives the recycling marketplace by creating
demand for recovered materials as feedstock to manufacture new products.
The Buy Recycled Alliance of New York (BRANY), a program of the New York
State Association for Reduction, Reuse and Recycling (NYSAR3), is a business
partnership to promote the purchase of recycled-content products. ESU, on behalf
of NYSAR3 and the BRANY, compiled the New York State Buy Recycled Products
Directory. The Directory is accessible as an Adobe Acrobat PDF file, or
it may be ordered directly from NYSAR3 at P.O. Box 3913, Albany N.Y. 12203.
