ESD Locations

Empire State Development, with co-headquarters in Albany, Buffalo and New York City, is supported by a network of 18 additional offices throughout the state and around the world.

Our ten regional offices across New York State and co-headquarters offices serve as our one-stop centers to assist companies located outside of the state and those already in the state. We provide the same wide-range of services to both. We listen to your plans, analyze your project and provide you with the information you need to establish or grow your company in New York State. This network of offices is the foundation of our economic development organization.

Our network of offices does not stop at our borders, but extends throughout the world. We offer you access to our international offices as part of our extensive effort to help you penetrate world markets. We also provide the experts to tell you how to do it. New York State is the second most important state in the United States for foreign investment. More than 3,000 internationally based firms have operations here. We assist firms in establishing themselves in New York State and finding sites, joint venture partners and strategic alliances. We also assist businesses in actively promoting the export of products made in the state.
